“Less than 5% of ballroom dance instructors are professionally certified; those that are demonstrate a true dedication to their students and to the art of ballroom dancing. They are the ultimate champions of the ballroom world." -- Diane Jarmolow

There are no licensing requirements for dance teachers and it follows that it can be difficult for students to recognize the differences between one teacher and another.

With the ever-increasing popularity of Ballroom Dance, employers and students alike expect that professional dance instructors adhere to a certain standard of quality and experience. As dance professionals we must be willing to continually make changes and improvements in order to keep up with the public's demand.

“The demand for professionally trained instructors with nationally recognized qualifications continues to grow nation wide. A BDTC diploma provides recognition of a significant training accomplishment as well as being a solid base from which to become a DVIDA certified professional" -- Ian Nandhra

Many people may not be aware that teaching dance is  a viable career, may not know how to go about it, or have suppressed their desire to make dance a major part of their life.

This course is the answer you have been looking for! Our commitment is to give you all the tools necessary to be a successful ballroom dance instructor, regardless of your age or experience.

Unlike "home grown" studio programs that teaches "just enough" to meet the studios needs, this is a comprehensive, convenient, and supportive program based on the recognized DVIDA syllabus.

You will learn how to dance and teach 17 American Style ballroom dances as both Leader and Follower, based on the DVIDA® syllabus

The curriculum is broken down into four quarters:

SMOOTH Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz

RHYTHM I Rumba, Cha Cha, Bolero, East Coast Swing

RHYTHM II Merengue, Mambo, Samba, West Coast Swing

NIGHTCLUB Nightclub Two Step, Salsa, Hustle, Lindy Hop, Argentine Tango

Each quarter is four months long, and you may enroll at the beginning of any quarter.

You can complete the program in 4, 8 or 16 months

At the end of the course, you will receive a diploma, acknowledging your achievement
